Norfolk Virginian Pilot,Monday, July 25,1938
Mrs. Mary Ann Ward, aged 72, of 516 South Main street, Berkley, died suddenly
Saturday night at 12 o'clock while visiting in Cape Charles.  She was a native
of Accomac County, and had resided here for 15 years.  She was the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. William Isaac Justice.  Surviving her are her husband, Littleton
Ward;  three daughters, Mrs. George Guy, Cape Charles;  Mrs. H. S. Barrett,
Norfolk; Mrs. Lizzie Rew, Los Angeles, CA;  two sons, W. K. Lingo and Arthur L.
Ward, both of Norfolk;  one sister, Mrs Clara Perkins, of Baltimore;  13
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, Jefferson and Jackson streets,
South Norfolk, where funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 4:30
o'clock.  Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
