Ward. Her funeral will take place from her late residence, on Granby Street, MONDAY EVENING at 5:30 o'clock. **************** Funeral of Mrs. Julia P. Ward The funeral of the late Mrs. Julia P. Ward took place yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock from her late residence on Granby Street. The services were conducted in the most impressive manner by the Rev. O.S. Barten, after which the remains were conveyed to their last resting place in Elmwood Cemetery and in the calm serenity of a cloudless evening, as the sun sank to rest, were placed by the side of her lamented husband who so shortly preceded her. Seldom has our community been shocked in so short a time by two such sad deaths. An aching void will be left in many a heart which time will be slow to heal. The following gentlemen acted as pallbearers: Wallace W. Hunter, V.D. Groner, W.C. Dickson, B.P. Loyall, Thomas K. Bell, Warren G. Elliott, W. Talbot Walke, Frederick S. Taylor.
