Chesapeake - Rachel E. Ward, of the 100 block of Hooke Street, Chesapeake, VA 
died on February 5, 2015 in Chesapeake Regional Hospital. She was a native of 
Norfolk, VA and a member of the United House of Prayer, Virginia Beach, VA. She 
was a widow of the late William C. Ward, Jr. She retired from Norfolk Naval 
Supply Center in 1985 after 32 years of service. She is survived by her 
brothers, Obediah Riddick, Jr. and Wilbert Riddick, Sr. both of Chesapeake, VA. 

A Homegoing Service will be held 12 noon at the United House of Prayer, 4426 
Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA on February 14, 2015. The burial will 
follow at Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk, VA. Hale Funeral Home is in charge.
