The Norfolk Virginian Pilot March 1, 1947
Mrs. Lolo Virginia Ives Ward, daughter of the late Curtis and Mrs. Sarah 
Katharine Ives, a native of Norfolk, died Friday afternoon at her home, 4440 
North Beacon Street, Chicago, where she has resided for some time.  She is 
survived by one daughter, Mrs. Frances O'Connor; two sons, Curtis Ives Ward and 
James Franklin Ward; one grandson, Jack O'Connor, all of Chicago, and two 
sisters, Mrs. Mary Johnson, of Berkeley, Calif., and Mrs. Page Simpson, of 
Norfolk.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Ollver Funeral Apartments to Magnolia 
Cemetery for services at the grave, this afternoon at 1 o'clock, with the Rev. 
Edgar H. Harden, officiating.
