Capt. Ira W Tapley, commander of the Jamestown, and Jefferson L Fisher were the only witnesses who appeared in the case. Emblems and tattoo marks about the body of the deceased went to show that the man had been a Knight Templar, and Grice Commandery No. 16 of Norfolk was given charge of the remains. The funeral will take place Sunday morning from H D Oliver's undertaking establishment.
