Mrs. Gladys L. Warren, 47, of 1518 Lesner place, died recently at her residence.

She was a native of Snowden, NC, and had lived in Norfolk 30 years.

Surviving are her husband, Booker T. Warren; Two step-daughters, Mrs. Willie Mae 
Thomas and Miss Mary Magdaline Lassiter; three sisters, Mrs. Margie B. Corprew, 
Mrs. Sedosia Shields and Mrs. Catherine Faulks, and two brothers, Melvin and E. 
Sterling Powell all of Norfolk.

A funeral service was conducted at New Calvary Baptist Church on Jan. 31 by 
Elder Samuel A. Wilson. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in 
charge.
