Virginian Pilot, Sep 7,1966
Chesapeake - George Alexander Washington of 500 Broadway, Churchland, died 
Monday in a Portsmouth hospital.

A native of Nansemond County, he was a son of the late Cornelius and Mrs. Emma 
Washington and the husband of Mrs. Sallie Washington.  He was retired from Wynn 
Nursery.

Surviving, besides his widow, are a son, Air Force S.SGT Milton O. Washington of 
Andrews Air Force Base, MD;  three brothers, Clyde Washington of Norfolk, Ernest 
Washington of Portsmouth, and Clifton Washington of Pennsylvania;  and a sister, 
Mrs. Edna Jones of Norfolk.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Hale Funeral Chapel.  
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
