Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, February 25, 1993 
Beulah M. Washington of the 800 block of E. Virginia Beach Blvd., died Feb. 22,
1993, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Washington was born in Jackson, N.C. She retired from a catering service
and was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church for approximately 40 years. She
was the widow of the Rev. Wilson Washington.

Survivors include three daughters, Iora Cuffee and Lenora Webster, both of
Norfolk, and Dorothy Edmonds-Thomas of Woodbridge, Va.; four sons, Huvard
Hughes, William L. Hughes, Wilson Washington and Antwan J. Washington, all of
Norfolk; a sister, Cora Majette of Rich Square, N.C.; a brother, Genie Grant of
Norfolk; 30 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in New Calvary Baptist Church
by the Rev. G.G. Campbell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join
the family at 2323 Virginia Beach Blvd., Apt. A6. The body will be taken to the
church at 10 a.m. There will be a wake service from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday. Graves
Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
