Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Monday, February 8, 1993 
Wallace ``Lee'' Washington, 49, of the 800 block of Goff St., a laborer, died
Feb. 3, 1993, in Lake Taylor City Hospital.

Mr. Washington was born in Norfolk. He was employed with Morrison & Knudson. He
was a Baptist.

Survivors include four sisters, Frances Pinkney of Philadelphia and Edna Thigpen
and Maxine Alston, both of Norfolk, and Margaret Skinner of Virginia Beach; four
brothers, Frank Washington, Alinda Washington, Randolph Washington and Nathaniel
Washington, all of Norfolk; and a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Minerva and Charlie Washington; and his
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Riddick.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Twilight Funeral Home by the
Rev. Flord C. Sykes Sr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Family and friends
will assemble at the home at noon for the procession to the chapel on Tuesday.
Visitation will begin Monday evening in the funeral home.
