Washington of 1005 Albert Ave., died June 16. A native of Raleigh, WV, he was the son of the Rev. King Curtis Washington and Mrs. Annie Bell Washington and the husband of the late Mrs. Mildred Washington. He was a 4-year maintenance man at Hague Towers and a retired Navy chief petty officer. He is survived by two daughters, Miss Cloatie Washington of Norfolk and Mrs. Marion Amey of Dayton,Ohio; four sons, James Manley of Camden NJ, Walter Earl Robinson of Cleveland, Ohio, and and Curtis Washington and Jeffrey Washington of Norfolk; four sisters, Mrs. Thersa Hood and Mrs. Gertrude Weston of Washington, and Mrs. Helen Burton and Mrs. Geraldine Williams of Beckley, WV; a brother, the Rev. Ray Washington of Beckley; and five grandchildren. The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home.
