Norfolk - Dorothy Washington of 4310 Colonial Ave., a native of Norfolk and the 
wife of Fred Washington, died Thursday in a hospital.

She was a former member of Mason Memorial Church of God in Christ.

Other survivors include three daughters, Dorothy Bell of Chesapeake and Gayland 
George and Zoe George, both of Norfolk; three sons, Maurice George of Culpeper, 
Clinton George of Norfolk and Dion George of Burkesville; two sisters, Gloria 
Freeman of Norfolk and Jacqueline Brown of Norfolk; nine grandchildren; and a 
great-grandchild.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Riddick Funeral Chapel by the 
Rev. James L. Drew. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 
2 p.m. today. The family will be at her home.
