Mary Wasielewicz, 94, died July 4, 1999.

A retired seamstress, she was born in Poland and was the widow of Joe Wasielewicz. 
She was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and the Santos Club of 
Norfolk.

Survivors include three granddaughters, Linda Rowland of Chesapeake, Valerie Grant 
and Lisa Grant, both of Virginia Beach; three grandsons, Doug Grant of Suffolk, 
Steven Fedryk and Michael Fedryk, both of Virginia Beach; five great-
grandchildren, Christine Grant, Cindy Grant, Rachael Rowland, Levy Rowland and Kai 
Rowland; and a great-great-grandchild, Ariana Grant. She was predeceased by her 
daughter, Ann Grant, and son-in-law, Leroy Grant, and her son, Stephen Fedryk.

A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Gregory 
the Great Catholic Church by Fr. Paschal Kneip, O.S.B. Burial will be in St. 
Mary's Cemetery. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside 
Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
