The Virginian Pilot April 29, 1973
VIRGINIA BEACH - Mrs. Virginia Outlaw Waterfield of 420 Maryland Court, widow 
of Otho W. Waterfield Jr. and a daughter of Rothia and Mrs. Claudia Matthews 
Outlaw died in her home Friday at 7:30 p.m.
A native of Hertford, N.C. she had lived in Norfolk and Virginia Beach most of 
her life.
She owned and operated the first Professional Personal Service in Norfolk and 
also had offices in Richmond. She was a past president of Business and 
Professional Women's Assn. and a Methodist.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Nancy W. McFarland of Virginia Beach; a son Otho 
W. Waterfield III of Norfolk; a brother, John A. Outlaw of Driver; and four 
grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in Twiford Funeral Chapel, Colley Avenue, Monday 
at 4 p.m. by the Rev. Richard Woodward of Community Chapel, Virginia Beach. 
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will be at the residence.
