He was a member of the Norfolk Light Artillery Blues, having served on the Mexican border and in World War I in France. Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Nancy W. Halstead of Virginia Beach; one son, Otho West Waterfield III, of Norfolk; one brother, Harry O. Waterfield, of Norfolk; and one grandson, Otho W. Waterfield, IV, of Norfolk. Funeral services will be conducted at the Derry-Twiford Funeral Home tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. The place of burial will be announced later.
