Josephine Grillo Waterman, 84, of the 1000 block of Hampton Blvd., died June 27, 
1991, in a hospital.

Mrs. Waterman, a Norfolk native, was the widow of Kenneth A. Waterman. She was a 
member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Rose Johnson, Thelma Cook, Mamie Dominisac and 
Betty McIntosh, all of Norfolk; two sons, Kenneth Waterman Jr. of Norfolk and 
Eddie Waterman of Virginia Beach; 19 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church by the Rev. John Dorgan. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. A 
Christian wake service will be at 6:30 p.m. today in H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Norfolk. Friends may join the family at 2209 Wharton Ave.
