Norfolk - Mrs. Bernice Gary Watkins of 2211 Reservoir Avenue, the widow of 
Morrell Watkins died July 30, 1972, in a hospital after a short illness.

A native of Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late Eddie and Mrs. Eva Gary.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Surviving a son, Morrell Watkins III of Norfolk;  three daughters, Mrs. Evone 
Lovitt of Virginia Beach, Mrs. Lois Love and Mrs. Marion (name blurred)of 
Norfolk;  a sister, Mrs. Emma Finney of New York;  15 grandchildren;  and six 
great-grandchildren.

Hale Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
