Virginian Pilot February 7, 1985

Iver Lewis Watson, 61, of 5783 Barton St., a native of Delco, N.C., and the 
widow of Burney Braxton Watson Sr., died Tuesday in a hospital.
Mrs. Watson was a practical nurse.
Survivors include four daughters, JoAnne Evans of Chesapeake, Betty Dreer of 
Detroit, Patsy Armitage of Pensacola, Fla., and Terrie Watson of Richmond; a 
son, Burney Braxton Watson Jr. of Norfolk; four sisters, Bernice Koontz of 
Lawrenceville, Doris Roth of Chesapeake, Opal Watts of Lawtey, Fla., and Mrs. 
M.L. Roberts of Wilmington, N.C.; two brothers, Ralph Lewis of Indianapolis and 
A.F. Lewis of Wilmington, N.C.; and nine grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Graham Funeral Home, South 
Norfolk Chapel. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday and at the 
residence.
