Mr. Joseph S. Watts, a lifelong resident of Norfolk, died at the residence of his 
sister, Mrs. Joseph S. Thomas, 628 Charlotte street, after a brief illness. He was 
the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph S. Watts and is survived by his widow, one 
daughter, two sisters, Isabella Watts and Mr. Joseph S. Thomas, all of Norfolk and 
a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at Hale’s Funeral 
Home Sunday at 4 p.m. Friends and acquaintances of the family are invited to 
attend.
