Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, July 7, 2001 
NORFOLK - Solomon William ``Sol'' Webb, 96, of the 1000 block of Kane St., died
July 3, 2001.

Born in Norfolk, Mr. Webb was the widower of Mable Webb. He retired as a customs
inspector from the U.S. Customs Agency and was a member of Oakwood Chapel Church.

Survivors include a nephew, Solomon Johnson of Doswell, Va.; three nieces,
Maxine Forrest, Antonia Nathaniel and Lolita Watson, all of Norfolk; and a host
of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Oakwood Chapel Church by Elder
Howard Wilson. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . E.A. Hughes Funeral Home is
in charge.
