Webb in Danville A few days ago THE VIRGINIAN announced that Mrs. W.F. Gregory, of this city, had been called to Danville, Va., to the bedside of her mother, Mrs. A. Webb, who had been seriously injured by falling down a stairway. It was thought a few days ago that Mrs. Webb had somewhat improved, but yesterday information was received announcing her death, which occurred at 4:32 o'clock a.m. Mrs. A. Webb, a former resident of Norfolk, and mother of W.R. Webb, Mrs. W.F. Gregory and Mrs. Virginia Dashiell, of that city, and Mrs. E.W. Gaines, of Danville died. Two of her children and a number of her grandchildren were with her at the end, which was a most peaceful one. She was born in Norfolk on January 23, 1810, and was a daughter of the late Archibald Rose, a soldier in the Revolutionary War. The remains will be brought to Norfolk for interment and the funeral will take place Friday morning from the Cumberland Street M.E.
