Norfolk - Loretta Ranhorn Weber, 72, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 19, 
2016 in a Norfolk health care center. She worked for many years as a telephone 
operator for C & P Telephone Co, and retired from Verizon after 25 years of 
service. Born in Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late Edna Fraim Ranhorn and 
William A. Ranhorn, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Shawna W. Adkins, and her 
husband, Christopher, of Suffolk, VA; her son, Kenneth Weber, and his wife, 
Chrystal of Norfolk; 10 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. A memorial 
service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2016 in the Norfolk 
Chapel of H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. 
The family will receive friends at a visitation 1 hour prior to the service in the
