Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark April 14, 1914

Mrs. Roseanna Weeks, aged 71 years, widow of B.W. Weeks and daughter of the late 
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Thatch, died yesterday evening at 6:15 o'clock at the home 
of her daughter, Mrs. David Crockett, 120 East Eighteenth Street, Norfolk 
proper, after a lingering illness. She was well and favorably known in her 
community and is survived by four children. They are William, Nathan and John 
Weeks and Mrs. David Crockett. The funeral services will be conducted at the 
above residence Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and burial will be in Magnolia 
Cemetery.

WICKS - At the residence of her daughter, Mrs. David Crockett, 120 E. Eighteenth 
Street, Norfolk proper, Monday evening, April 13, 1914, at 6:15 o'clock, MRS. 
ROSEANNA WEEKS, widow of B.W. Weeks and daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph 
Thatch, aged 71 years.
Funeral at the above residence Wednesday afternoon, April 15, at 2 o'clock. 
Burial in Magnolia Cemetery. Friends invited.

The funeral of Mrs. Roseanna Weeks was conducted at the home of her daughter, 
Mr. David Crockett, 120 East Eighteenth Street, yesterday afternoon by Rev. E.T. 
Dadmun, pastor of Memorial Methodist Church. The service was largely attended 
and there were many beautiful flowers, in evidence of the esteem in which she 
was held. The pallbearers were: E.F. Berger, J.O. Todd, W.T. Castello, D.C. 
Cowan, Fletcher Eure.
