J.F. Morgan, pastor of the Rosemont Congregational-Christian Church. Mrs. Earl J. King sang "Eastern Gate" and "Lay My Head Beneath a Rose." The attendance was large and there were many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a double-end spray of white chrysanthemums, carnations and fern. Pallbearers were W.M. Townsend, William Madrin, Judge Herman White, W.W. Pillar, Hollis Weeks and J.N. Megginson. Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery.
