VIRGIONIA BEACH - Sarah Berman Weiner, 83, of the Beth Sholom Home, died Th
Thursday in a hospital. She was a native of Russia and the widow of Abie Weiner.
Mrs. Weiner formerly had worked at L. Snyder's and Dorothy's Frocks. She was a m
member of Temple Israel Congregation and the Jewish Community Center. She did v
volunteer work at the Veteran's Hospital in Hampton.
Survivors include a daughter, Bernice Pelkey of Virginia Beach; a sister Eunice
Berlin of California; a 
Berlin of California; a brother Sam Berman of Virginia Beach; eight 
grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. today in B'Nai Israel C
Cemetery by Rabbi Saul Z. Hyman and Cantor Isaac Danker. H. D. Oliver Funeral A
Apts, Norfolk, is in charge.
The family will be at 3733 Tait Terrace, Norfolk.
