Norfolk Ledger Dispatch May 24, 1922

William J. Welch, a well known resident of Norfolk, died last night, aged 58 
years. He was a son of the late John and Hanorah Welch. He is survived by three 
cousins, Miss Ellie O'Keefe and John J. and William J. O'Keefe.
The remains will be taken from H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments 610-12 East 
Freemason Street, to St. Mary's Catholic Church for funeral Friday at 10 a.m. 
Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.

WELCH, WILLIAM J. – On Tuesday, May 23, 1922, at 9:30 o’clock p.m., WILLIAM J., 
son of the late John and Hanorah Welch, in the 59th year of his age.
Remains will be taken from H. D. Oliver’s funeral apartments, No. 610-12 East 
Freemason street, to St. Mary’s Catholic Church for funeral services Friday 
morning at 10 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, 
St. Mary’s Cemetery.
