Funeral services were held Sunday for Mrs. Alice Welch, 42, of 309 Westover avenue 
at First Baptist Church, Logan Park.

A native of Kinston, NC, Mrs. Welch was a member of First Baptist Church. Burial 
was in Calvary Cemetery.

Survivors include her parents, Norman Perry and Mrs. Ollie Greeley Perry; her 
husband, Vernon Welch; two sons, Vernon Welch Jr., and Keith Welch of Norfolk; 
three brothers, Roland Perry and Ernest Perry of Norfolk and William Perry of 
Washington; and a sister, Mrs. Delores Fures of Washington.
