Funeral services for Elisha B. Wells, 75, of 975 Maltby avenue were held 
recently at Tabernacle Baptist Church.  The Rev. L. T. Manning officiated 
and burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Wells died at his home.    He was a native of Rosehill, NC, but had 
lived in Norfolk since 1920.  He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church 
and the Tidewater Brotherhood of Deacons.

Mr Wells is survived by his wife, Mrs. Agnes Wells;  a daughter, Mrs. Marie 
Wrench;  and several other relatives.  Morning Glory Funeral Home was in 
charge of arrangements.
