Virginia Beach - Frank Linwood Wells, 66, of 604 Delaware Ave., died Sunday in a
hospital.  He was a native of South Norfolk and had lived here since 1926.

He was a retired landscaper and was a Navy veteran of World War II.  He was a
past president of Virginia Beach Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7166 and a past
adjutant of Norfolk VFW Post 4809.

Survivors include two brothers, Raymond E. Wells of Norfolk and Walter S. Wells
of Virginia Beach.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Maestas Funeral Home.  Burial will
be in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk.  The family will be at the funeral home
from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.  Memorial donations may be made to Virginia
Beach Rescue Squad or American Heart Association.
