Virginian-Pilot  November 5, 1939
Mrs. Ida May Wells - The body of Mrs. Wells, widow of Jake Wells, well-known 
Norfolk resident, who died Friday at Pensacola, Fla., will be taken from the H. D. 
Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial avenue, to the Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church for services tomorrow morning at 9 o’clock. Burial will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
