Virginian Pilot January 14, 1908

The funeral of the late Mrs. Josie Ella Wescott, wife of John Wescott, who 
died Sunday morning at 8 o'clock at Lawford's Sanitorium, took place at the 
family residence in Liberty street yesterday afternoon.  Rev. E.W. Cowling, 
rector of St. Thomas' Episcopal Church conducted the services and the  
interment was in Magnolia Cemetery.  The deceased was 39 years old and was 
born in Staunton, Va. and had been a resident of Berkley ward about two years.
