Engelke, Seaboard avenue, South Norfolk, yesterday afternoon at 5:50 o'clock. She was in her 83d year, was a native of Fayetteville, N.C., but had resided here about five years. The funeral will be conducted from the residence of her daughter this afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. A.J. Ramsey, pastor of Berkley Avenue Baptist Church officiating, assisted by Rev. E.W. Cowling, rector of St. Thomas' Episcopal Church. The interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery. *************************************************************************** The funeral of the late Mrs. George West, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H.N. Engelke, Saturday night, was conducted from the residence, in Seaboard avenue, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. A.J. Ramsey, pastor of Berkley Avenue Church, conducted the funeral and was assisted by Rev. E.W. Cowling, rector of St. Thomas Episcopal Church. The interment was in Magnolia Cemetery and the following acted as pallbearers: Capt. C.F. Hudgins, Capt. T.B. Story, Richard West, W.F. Zimmer, George T. Wrenn and Charles Frazier.
