Mrs. Mamie R. West - Funeral services for Mrs. West, 901 Lunenberg street, were
held Sunday, April 20, at First Trinity AME Church with the pastor, Rev. M. H.
Shields officiating, assisted by the Rev. W. B. Westbrook.

Mrs. West is survived by her husband, James E. West, three daughters, Mesdames
Juanita Davis, Edna Peebles, and Miss Annie West;  two sons, Charles and James
E. West, Jr.;  one brother, Charles B. Bell;  two sisters, Mesdames Sarah Little
and Martha Kellam;  one grandson and three granddaughters.

Pallbearers were Willie Marsh, Bill Jones, Sam Taylor, David Sykes, Solomon
Skinner and Lawrence Johnson.

Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery with the Chatman Funeral Home in charge of
arrangements.
