The Norfolk Virginian Pilot Monday March 9, 1953
Harry Ray West, 52, husband of Mrs. Margaret Loder West and son of Harry Lee 
and Mrs. Frances Ray West, died at a local hospital yesterday at 8:20 a.m.
Mr. West was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, making his home at 825 Westover 
Avenue at the time of his death. He was a member of Epworth Methodist Church 
and was Past Master of Dorak Lodge No. 144, A.F. & A.M.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Margaret Loder West, he is survived by a sister, Miss 
Frances Lee West, of Norfolk.
Services will be conducted at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Tuesday at 
2 p.m. by the Rev. Dr. Edgar A. Potts, pastor of Epworth Methodist Church. 
Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
