Norfolk Virginian Pilot Saturday November 23, 1946
Miss Olivia A. West, 76, of 620 Pine Street, Berkley, died suddenly 
yesterday at 5:30 p.m. at home.
A daughter of John T. and Olivia Daughtrey West, she was a native of 
Portsmouth and a resident of Berkley 70 years. She was an active member of 
the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church, superintending the beginners department 
30 years and working in the Ladies' Aid Society.
She is survived by a brother, Ernest J. West, and a sister, Miss Mary E. 
West, both of Berkley.
The body was taken to the Williams Funeral Home, South Norfolk.

Miss Olivia A. West - Funeral services for Miss West, of 620 Pine Street, 
Berkley, who died Friday afternoon at her home, will be conducted today at 
2:30 p.m. in the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church. Burial will be in Magnolia 
Cemetery.
