Mr. West fell from the deck of the ferry steamer Twin City three weeks ago, inflicting injuries that with other troubles with which he was suffering, resulted in death. Mr. West was a member of the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Margaret Lee West; three children, John T., Edward H. and Olivia A. West; two brothers, E.J. and J.T. West and three sisters, Mrs. W.L. Grubb, Misses Olivia A. and Mamie West. The funeral will take place at the residence 51 N. Main street, this afternoon at 5 o'clock and the services will be conducted by Rev. J.W. Hundley, D.D., who is supplying at the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church during the absence of the pastor, Rev. W.R. Flannagan. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. *********************** WEST - At the Lawford Hospital, Berkley, Norfolk, Va., Thursday morning, July 31, 1913, at 8:45 o'clock, EDWARD PARKER WEST, aged 54 years, son of the late John Thomas and Mrs. Elizabeth Daughtrey West. Funeral from the family residence, No. 51 Main street, THIS (Friday) AFTERNOON at 5 o'clock. Friends of the family respectfully invited to attend. Interment in Magnolia Cemetery.
