Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark June 17, 1917

WEST - At his residence, 14 Hardy Avenue, Thursday evening, June 14, 1917, 
at 7 o'clock, JOHN THOMAS WEST, son of the late John T. and Mrs. Eliza Ann 
Weatherley West, of Portsmouth, age 64 years, 7 months and 8 days.
The funeral will be conducted at the family residence THIS (Sunday) 
AFTERNOON, June 17, 1917, at 3:30 o'clock.  Friends of the family 
respectfully invited to attend.  The interment will be private, in Riverside 
Cemetery.

The funeral of John Thomas West, who died at his home, 14 Hardy Avenue, will 
be conducted at the family residence this afternoon at 4 o'clock, by Rev. 
R.R. Phelps, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, of which Mr. West was a 
member.  Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.  Members of Berkley Lodge 
167 A.F. and A.M. and Lee Lodge 48 Knights of Pythias will attend the 
funeral in a body.
