Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark August 12, 1922

Mrs. Martha Lee West, 26 years of age, the widow of L.R. West, died yesterday 
morning at the home of her grandmother, 1430 West Thirty-eighth Street.  She is 
survived by a daughter, Mildred; her father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. 
Mundy; a brother, J.W. Mundy, and four half-sisters, Alice, Doris, Madaline and 
Frances Mundy.  The funeral will take place at Old Zion Methodist Church at 3 
o'clock tomorrow afternoon.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
