Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark December 19, 1927

Harry Watters West, Jr., aged 38 years, son of Mr. and Mrs. H.W. West, of Norfolk 
County, died at a local hospital at 8 o'clock Saturday night after a brief 
illness. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Annie M. West; his son, 
Harry Watters West, III; three brothers, Dr. George Brooks West, of Richmond; Dr. 
James B. West, of Norfolk and J.T. West, of Norfolk County and a sister, Mrs. 
Thomas E. Gilman, of Norfolk. Mr. West was well known and esteemed.
The funeral services will be conducted from the residence of his father-in-law, 
John Cuthrell, 32 Rodgers Street, South Norfolk, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock 
with interment in Magnolia Cemetery.
