The Virginian Pilot October 7, 1956
Mrs. Sue Whitehurst Weston, 84, widow of Cary P. Weston and daughter of the 
late Judge F.M. and Mrs. Laura S. Whitehurst, a native and former resident of 
Norfolk, died Wednesday at Santa Barbara, Calif., where she had made her home 
for a number of years.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. John Kenneth Patterson; a granddaughter and 
great-granddaughter of Santa Barbara, and a nephew, F.W. Dill, of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Elmwood 
Cemetery for services at the grave tomorrow at 3:30 p.m.  The Rev. Moultrie 
Guerry, rector of Old St. Paul's Episcopal Church, will officiate.  Friends are 
requested by the family to omit flowers.
