Norfolk Virginian Pilot January 23, 1951

George S. Weyer, 88, husband of Mrs. Rosa Martin Weyer and son of the late 
Serphine and Mrs. Anne Weyer, a native of Jackson, Miss. and a resident of Norfolk 
for 60 years, died Sunday at 10:30 p.m. at the residence, 9518 Chesapeake Street.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, James Francis Weyer and Maj. George 
S. Weyer, Jr. of Norfolk and a number of nieces and nephews. The body will be 
taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 
Ocean View, for services today at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
