Whealtman, aged 60, died last night at 6:45 at his residence, 717 Roswell Avenue, after an illness of four weeks. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Laura Whealtman; three sons, Charles G., Harry E. and Robert L. Whealtman; three daughters, Mrs. J.E. Toppton and Misses Laura E. and Gertrude Whealtman, all of Norfolk and one brother, E.B. Whealtman, of Chincoteague. He was a member of the Order of the Modern Woodmen and of the Jr. O.U.A.M. Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral apartments of L.L. Williams, Granby and Twenty-ninth Streets, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
