Virginian Pilot December 11, 1969

James Cherry Wheeler, 64, formerly of 601 Graydon Ave., died in a Richmond 
hospital Tuesday.
He was a son of Elmer F. and Mrs. Margaret Lanigan Wheeler.
A Norfolk native, he was a lifelong resident of this area. He was a member of 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church and 3rd Order of St. Francis.
He was retired from Railroad Express.
Surviving is a brother, Elmer P. (Dick) Wheeler of Norfolk.
The Rosary will be said in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 7:30.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
The family will be at 3757 Dare Circle.
