Wheeler died at the home of Martin Brogan, 11 Monticello Avenue, at 11:25 o'clock a.m. yesterday after a lingering illness in the 49th year of his age. The deceased was a well known resident of this city, having resided here his whole life. His occupation was that of a printer, being considered one of the most efficient typographers who had ever followed the vocation. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. J.L. Cherry and two brothers, Captain Elmer Wheeler and Charles A. Wheeler, all of Norfolk. He was a member of Norfolk Typographical Union and Black Hawk Tribe Improved Order of Red Men. The remains were yesterday afternoon removed to the home of his sister, 520 River Avenue, Atlantic City Ward. *************** WHEELER – At the residence of Mr. Martin Brogan, No. 11 Monticello avenue, Tuesday, March 7, 1911, at 11:20 o’clock a.m., WILLIAM J. WHEELER, aged 48 years. Remains will be taken from the residence of his sister, Mrs. J. L. Cherry, No. 520 River avenue (Atlantic City ward), to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for funeral services THURSDAY MORNING at 9 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend.
