Patrick Owen Wheeler, 28, of the 900 block of Shirley Ave., died Sept. 23, 1993, 
in Norfolk.

Mr. Wheeler was born in Norfolk and was a carpenter with Norfolk public schools. 
He was a Catholic.

Survivors include his parents, Theresa P. Wiederhold of Avon Park, Fla., and 
Edward B. Wheeler of Edenton, N.C.; two sisters, Janette Allen of Virginia Beach 
and Kelley Pearsons of St. Louis, Mo.; two stepsisters, Michelle Farmerie and Lisa 
Hickey, both of Virginia Beach; a brother, Edward K. Wheeler of Oklahoma; and his 
maternal grandmother, Connie Pate of Edenton.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Cemetery, 
Norfolk, by Dr. Paul Lawson. The family will be at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, 
Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Contributions may be made to St. Mary's 
Infant Home.
