The Virginian Pilot Friday July 28, 1978
Mrs. Mary Hanbury W[h]icker, 63, of 3560 Norland Court, an employe of Best 
Products Co., died Wednesday in her home. She worked in the jewelry 
department.
A native of Norfolk County, she lived here all her life. She was a member of 
Cradock United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Margaret P. Pinkham of Vallejo, Calif.; a 
sister, Mrs. Margaret V. Sawyer of Virginia Beach; and two grandchildren.
A funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, 
Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. Melvin L. Steadman. Burial will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery, Norfolk. The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 
8:30 and also at the home of Mrs. Margaret V. Sawyer.
