Virginian Pilot February 3, 1971

Lloyd Gordon Whiley, Sr., 70, of 628 Graydon Ave., died in a hospital Tuesday. 
He was a lifelong resident of Norfolk.
He was a son of Henry James and Mrs. Annie Hickey Whiley.
He was a retired electrical inspector of the City of Norfolk.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Marie W. Caminati of Norfolk; three sons, 
Lloyd G. Whiley Jr. of Norfolk, James Michael Whiley of Fairfax and William 
Alfred Whiley of Bowie, Md.; and two sisters, Mrs. Florence W. Simmons and Mrs. 
Catherine White, of Norfolk.
The Rosary will be said in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 8:30.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Thursday at 11 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
The family will be at 8528 Benjamin Ave.
