Norfolk Journal and Guide, Feb 27, 1960
Euras Latham Whitaker of 709 Windsor avenue died Feb. 14 at his residence after a 
long illness.  Funeral services were conducted Feb. 17 at Citizens Funeral Home 
by the Rev. Richard A. Councill.  Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Mr. Whitaker, a native of Belhaven, NC, was employed by ILA Local 1248.

He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Cora Herman of New York;  and six brothers, 
Pinky, Nathaniel, George, John and Daniel Whitaker, all of New York City, and 
Dallas of Whitaker of Norfolk.
