Virginian-Pilot December 20, 1940
WHITE, LEROY FRANCIS, JR. - At a local hospital, Thursday, December 19th, 1940, at 
12:45 o’clock p.m., LEROY FRANCIS WHITE, JR., son of Leroy Francis and Mrs. Ethel 
Matroni White, in the 17th year of his age. Remains will be taken from the 
residence of his grandmother, Mrs. Ellen N. Matroni, No. 1816 Blair avenue, Gowrie 
Park, to St. Mary’s Catholic Church for services SATURDAY MORNING at 11 o’clock. 
Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
