Virginian-Pilot May 14, 1912
Michael J. White died at St. Vincent’s hospital at 6:20 a.m. yesterday after a 
lingering illness, in the forty-fifth year of his age. Mr. White was a native of 
Baltimore, but had been a resident of Norfolk thirty-five years, where he was well 
known and highly esteemed. He is survived by a widow and daughter, Miss Annie 
Louise White and several nephews and nieces. The funeral will be held at St. 
Mary’s Catholic church at 10:00 o’clock a.m. Wednesday. The interment will be in 
St. Mary’s cemetery. Mr. White was a member of the Young Men’s Association.
