She was the widow of Luther Wesley White Jr. Mrs. White was a member of Larchmont United Methodist Church in Norfolk. She was a former president of the Hermitage Guild of the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church and the Scherzo Music Club. Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca W. Graham of Alexandria; two sons, Dr. Forrest P. White of Norfolk and Luther W. White III of Owensboro, Ky.; a sister, Martha P. Biel of Gresham, Ore.; 12 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Larchmont United Methodist Church by the Rev. J. Roy Smith. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Cox Funeral Home is in charge. The family will be at her son's home, 1079 Algonquin Road, Norfolk, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be sent to the church mission fund or to a charity of the donor's choice.
